Jonny also missing from Oscar Wilde Awards?

The Oscar Wilde Awards were held tonight in Los Angeles. Jonathan was one of the honorees, along with Brendan Gleason and Hylda Queally.

However, it appears Jonathan wasn't there, as early pictures show Tudors producer Morgan O'Sullivan accepting the award on Jonathan's behalf.

I hope whatever is keeping him from appearances is resolved soon. We miss him! :(

Dancing with JRM?

Kristina Rihanoff of BBC One's Strictly Come Dancing (the UK version of Dancing With the Stars) has expressed interest in Jonathan as her next dance partner.

She told the Daily Record:

"I have a dream partner, but I don't think he's ever going to do Strictly," she said. "It's the actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers, I like him. It doesn't matter to me whether he's any good at dancing, I can teach him."

I think he would do great on a show like this! But of course I'd rather it be the US version...otherwise I'd have to find a way to see the overseas episodes. ;-)

Jonny unable to go to the IFTAs

Maria Doyle Kennedy, who plays Catherine of Aragon on the Tudors, told Herald.ie that Jonny wasn't at the awards in Ireland Saturday because of a "family crisis."

"He couldn't be here because of a family thing. I can't say any more about it but I know that he was gutted he couldn't be here," she said.
