April 5!! Mark your calendars.

JRM to play Gabriel & Lucifer in new movie

Jonathan has just signed on to the movie "Mary, Mother of Christ," set to be released on April 2, 2010 (Good Friday), playing the role of both the archangel Gabriel and fallen archangel Lucifer.

Peter O'Toole, Al Pacino, Jessica Lange and Camilla Belle were also announced as cast members.

Filming is scheduled to begin in Morocco in May.

At his appearance at Macy's Friday, he was quoted as saying,

“It’s not that I don’t believe in romance. It’s that I don’t believe in dinner for two by the ocean, walking down the beach holding hands – that version of romance.

I think I’m probably romantic, but I’m not outwardly romantic. I’m not a player.”
